Meera Raja is the Assistant Director of Research Innovation at the Office of the Vice President for Research and for National Laboratories (OVPRNL). Her primary role at OVPRNL is managing operations for Big Ideas Generator (BIG), an initiative dedicated to providing faculty logistical, administrative, and financial support for novel, early-stage research projects.
Prior to joining the OVPRNL team, Meera worked as consultant for ZS Associates. In her role at ZS, she focused primarily in the pharmaceutical space, developing data-driven strategies to help her clients optimize current revenue, drive sales force effectiveness, and assess new opportunities. Meera also completed her Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemistry from Northwestern University, where she studied the roles of metals in disease areas such as Diabetes and Alzheimer’s. Meera holds her undergraduate degree in the same field from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign
